I’ve committed to a genre now. I had left it purposefully ambiguous, walking the line between historical fiction and fantasy, but then ten o’clock hit and I added a psychic villain and an old spell book. It was fun to write and I did need an antagonist, but now I’m worried if it’s out of place in the story.
